Green 2020 Project Scope and Objectives for clients

The scope of most projects is to:

• Review the current procurement manual and key related sustainable procurement documentation that already exists;
• Conduct telephone interviews with a selection of nominated procurement personnel;
• Identify opportunities to apply and tailor a number sustainable procurement tools and techniques that have already been delivered to other clients.

The objective is to develop a comprehensive plan for implementing Sustainable Procurement. The plan will address the critical activities and deliverables necessary to embed sustainability principles at an operational procurement level.


The activities likely to be required for clients is to achieve goals that include:
• Identifying category-specific priorities and opportunities;
• Developing key insertions on for the Procurement Manual;
• Updating standard contract terms and conditions ;
• Updating PQQ documentation appropriately;
• Developing a supplier information pack; and
• Training procurement personnel.
