Global Pharmaceutical Company

Green 2020 was engaged in April 2008 by the client to provide a number of services. These included a global carbon emissions appraisal of all their operations ready for submission and inclusion into their annual report, a global energy audit programme of their largest adminstrative and manufacturing buildings, deployment of a web based energy monitoring platform to enable the accurate measurement of energy consumption and the implementation of an energy reduction programme to offset the increase cost of energy and reduce the impact of energy consumption as the business grows.

The first part of the programme, the carbon emission appraisal, utilised Green 2020's carbon data collection and appraisal tool Carbonalysis. Green 2020 also provide a dedicated data analyst to help collect the data from the different locations and to assist the appropriate contacts at each site the data required for the annual report.

At the end of the first part of the project the client stated that Green 2020 had "far exceed" their expectations on the quality of the work and the resulting report. Green 2020 has since been engaged on further projects with the client and has become and integral part of their global EHS project team.

European Financial Services Organisation

This European household brand contracted with Green 2020 through its partner Tori Global to provide an corporate environmental policy, an environmental strategy and a three and five year action plan.

Although the business doesn't acutally produce anything physical most of the environmental impacts are typical with any office based business. However, the organisation has a large number of corporate relationships that are key to its business model and is keen to lead the way on corporate environmental responsibility. Green 2020 have been engaged to offer not just the policy and strategy guidance but also guidance on ISO accrediation and existing and incoming legislation.

A UK Local Government Organisation

The UK's public sector is constantly under pressure to reduce costs, manage existing resources and meet its own legislation guidelines.

Green 2020 was engaged by the client to deliver energy audits, energy monitoring and targeting software and services and to provide certified auditors for the display energy certificate legislation due to come into force in October 2008.

Green 2020 have been engaged to also review their climate change programme, their energy policy and their energy procurement procedures.
